Indeed, you can walk along the entire Biarritz Coast from the lighthouse (North) to the “Plage des Basques” Beach (South).

You’ll walk along the Great Biarritz Beach and its Casino, and then will overlook several little coves with small beaches, bars and few restaurants.

Before reaching the Basque Beach, you’ll overlook the “Vieux Port” (Old Port) with its typical basque architecture that was the fishing port of Biarritz, known for seals fishing. Fishermen were dragging their caught to the Great Beach where they were processed for transportation.

This sheltered tiny port hosts today only few little boats but a couple of restaurants and bars…
